Abstract

The invention relates to a light-reversing element comprising a first surface, a second surface, a first reflective surface, and a second reflective surface. Light travels from the first surface to the light-reversing element. The second surface is arranged symmetrically with respect to the first surface along the first direction and parallel to the first surface, and the first direction is perpendicular to the first surface. The first reflective surface connects the first and second reflective surfaces, forming an acute angle between the first and second reflective surfaces, and light forms internal reflections through the first reflective surface. Light forms other internal reflections through the second reflective surface. The light-redirecting element also includes a light-blocking structure, extending from at least one of the first and second reflective surfaces into the light-redirecting element. Additionally, the invention also refers to the camera module and electronic device that incorporates this light-directing element.
