Abstract

The invention relates to user equipment comprising: an interface including at least one of the receiver and transmitter; memory; and a processor, which is communicationally coupled with the interface and memory, configured to: identify processing collisions for the exchange of position reference signals from UE to first UE and the exchange of first radio network interface signals; Determine the priority level of the position reference signal exchange from the first UE to the first UE and the first radio network interface signal exchange; and exchange, via the interface, one of the position reference signals from the first UE to the first UE or the first radio network interface signal according to the priority level. The invention also relates to a method of exchanging common signals at the interface between user devices and at the interface between a radio network and a device determining location information related to the UE. Furthermore, the invention relates to a method of exchanging common signals and a means of storing variable information readable by a processor.
