Abstract

The term "image or video processing" refers to methods and devices for processing images or videos, including receiving input data related to the current image or current slice of the current image, determining whether the current image is monochrome, signaling or conditionally analyzing the decoding parameters of the current image depending on whether the current image is monochrome, and encoding or decoding the current image or current slice. The chroma decompression parameters used in the decompression filtering algorithm are applied to the chroma components of the current image or current slice when the current image is not monochromatic. A syntactic component can be used to represent the inference process of the chroma decompression parameters , and based on the value of the syntactic component, the chroma decompression parameters are accepted to be explicitly signaled or analyzed from the syntactic structure, or the chroma decompression parameters are implicitly inferred.
