Abstract

Patents refer to systems, methods, and machines for wireless communication, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, that disrupt transmissions during transfer operations. In one respect, user equipment (UE) can abort at least part of the first uplink transmission when the first uplink transmission overlaps with the second uplink transmission scheduled by the destination cell in a handover (HO) based on a dual active protocol stack (DAPS). From another perspective, the network can receive, from the UE, the ability to indicate whether the uplink transmission from the source cell in the HO based on DAPS is being terminated, and the network can schedule the uplink transmission for the UE in the HO based on DAPS to the destination cell based on this ability.
