Methods for decoding and encoding video data, video data decoding equipment, and computer-readable, immutant storage media

Abstract

This paper addresses methods for decoding and encrypting video data, video decoding devices, and computer-readable, immutable storage media. The method used in this example involves decoding, from the encoded video bitstream, where the first syntactic element specifies the constraint for the second syntactic element, which specifies whether sub-image information is present in the encoded video bitstream and whether more than one sub-image is allowed in the encoded video bitstream; and decoding, based on the constraint specified by the first syntactic element and the second syntactic element.
