Abstract

The invention relates to a method of wireless communication, user equipment, and carrier entity. The methods described in the invention relate to wireless communication systems and the scheduling of channel state information transmissions and activities. The user equipment (UE) receives, from the base station (BS), a request to compute channel state information (CSI). Subsequently, the UE identifies the first CSI measurement resource based on the CSI computation request. The UE identifies the CSI based on the first CSI resource and receives, from the BS, a request to transmit the CSI report related to the first CSI measurement resource. The UE optionally transmits to the BS the CS1 report based on the first CSI measurement resource or another CSI measurement resource. Other features are also described and are subject to protection.
