Electrostatic sprayer

Abstract

This invention proposes an electrostatic spray machine that operates at high flow rates and low pressures, particularly suitable for spray drying. This machine comprises a body that pulls a stream of water along the downstream nozzle assembly, through which the charged liquid is conducted via a supply pipe at the center of the nozzle body, and the spray mist is supplied via an annular conduit to the liquid inlet pipe. According to one design, the nozzle assembly is a cluster of nozzles with an external mixed head containing multiple metal nozzles spaced cyclically. According to another design, the nozzle is an internal mixing nozzle assembly with an internal mixing chamber for the liquid atomization before expulsion.
