Abstract

The invention relates to systems, methods and apparatus for determining the physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) of a hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgment (HARQ-ACK) with a specific delay, including a wireless communication device that identifies, responds to events, and delays the transmission of uplink control information (UCI). By sending UCIs during a valid physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) opportunity identified by at least one configuration, rather than sending UCIs during an indicated but invalid PUCCH opportunity and before a valid PUCCH, the wireless communication device can identify a valid PUCCH opportunity from candidate PUCCH opportunities, according to at least one configuration.
