Abstract

This invention relates to a process for producing detergent granules capable of 'flowing' by means of a liquid formulation and spray drying. Specifically, this invention relates to a process for preparing a lower-alkaline liquid formulation for the production of spray-dried detergent granules. According to the above, the purpose of this invention is to propose a process for producing spray-dried detergent granules, in which these granules have good granular properties and provide a lower alkaline detergent solution while offering good stain removal performance without causing roughness to skin and fabric. The inventors have discovered that spray-dried detergent granules containing aluminum hydroxide, an alkaline additive at specific concentrations, have good starch properties, a long shelf life without clumping, These spray-dried particles create the desired pH level in the washing solution to achieve good stain removal performance without causing irritation to leather or fabric.
