Abstract

The invention relates to a current collector for a secondary battery, in which the current collector connects the electrode body to the terminal to conduct current from the electrode body outward; this current collector comprises an upper part, a body and a fuse located between the upper part and the body, in which: the upper part comprises a horizontal and a vertical part, the vertical part extending downwards in a direction essentially perpendicular to the horizontal part, in which one end of this vertical part has a first part; The fuse section is designed to connect directly to the current-conducting part of the electrical box body. This section extends along the length of the vertical ladder-like section of the upper part, with one end of this section having a second recess. The fuse section is designed to interrupt the current in case of a fault. This fuse section has a cross-section shaped to fit the first and second recesses.
