Abstract
The invention relates to a method for decoding and encoding images, and a method for transmitting image data to perform in-image prediction using reference pattern lines. The image decoding method may include configuring reference pattern lines, reconstructing the in-image prediction mode of the current block, and performing in-image prediction for the current block based on the in-image prediction mode and multiple reference pattern lines.
