Abstract
The invention relates to a frame consisting of a flat metal frame and a friction element located at the ear-bending portion. To prevent the friction element from accidentally detaching from the metal frame, a first retaining mechanism is devised. This first retaining mechanism comprises a first horizontal protrusion at the second outermost end of the frame. This protrusion, together with the frame, forms an outward-opening groove. This groove has a smaller cross-section at the mouth than at the middle. As a result, the flexible, elastic material from the friction element will be contained in the groove. The elastic material will be compressed to create a clamping effect, helping to hold the friction element and the metal frame tightly together, preventing accidental detachment.
