Abstract

The invention relates to a terminal device, a processing device, a method for reporting information about the capabilities of a terminal device, and a computer-readable recording device. The terminal device reporting information about the capabilities is used to indicate the ability of a terminal device to report CSI channel status information to a network device. This capability information is linked to the number of pilot signal ports supported by the terminal device in at least one unit of time used for CSI measurement, and is used to allow the network device to receive capability information to know the terminal device's CSI reporting capability, thereby determining the terminal device's CSI measurement configuration. According to the technical solution, the endpoint device reports capability information that can reflect the actual CSI reporting capability of the endpoint device, so that network devices can know the actual CSI reporting capability of the endpoint device, thereby configuring the endpoint device's CSI measurement and reporting efficiently and flexibly.
