Abstract

The invention relates to a molten salt circulation apparatus and a circulation method that facilitates the treatment of molten salt by lowering the freezing point of the molten salt and reducing the heating energy required to maintain the molten salt in a state where the active gas flow is stopped. The circulating equipment includes: a tank (1) containing molten salt (S) consisting of at least one of the following: sodium nitrite, sodium nitrate, and potassium nitrate; heating devices (2) and (3) for heating the molten salt (S) in the tank (1); a pump (4) to transfer out the molten salt (S) from the tank (1); a circulating line (flood) to circulate the molten salt (S) transferred out from the tank (1) and to return the molten salt (S) to the tank (1); and water supply (5) to supply water into the tank (1) used to dissolve molten salt (S) with water supplied from water supply (5) to lower the freezing point of molten salt (S) to heat molten salt (S) dissolved with water by using heating units (2) and (3) to maintain the liquid state of molten salt (S), and circulate molten salt (S) through circulation line (10) by controlling pump (4)
