Abstract

The invention relates to organometallic compounds represented by the following chemical formula. When organometallic compounds are used as dopants for the light-emitting layer of organoluminescent devices, the stability of the organometallic compound molecule is created so that the full width at halfmaximum (FWHM) is narrow, and thus the color purity is improved. Furthermore, the non-luminescent recombination process is made such that the luminescence efficiency and equipment life of an organic luminescent electroluminescent device are improved.
