Abstract

The invention relates to systems, devices, and methods for dynamic adaptive streaming over HTTP DASH. This method includes the following steps: capturing the event message channel containing multiple event message entity boxes; configuring the event message channel to be processed by the DASH client to display media content; capturing the first event message entity box included in the event message channel; The second event message entity box is included in the event message channel, where the second event message entity box contains first information identifying the first event message entity box, and second information defining the relationship between the first and second event message entity boxes; the first event message entity box is adjusted based on the first and second information; and provide an event message channel to the DASH client or display media content based on the event message channel.
