Wireless communication methods at user devices and wireless access network nodes

Abstract

The invention relates to mechanisms by which wireless communication devices update transmission configuration indicator states (TCI states), spatial relation (SR) indicators, or pathloss reference signals (PL-RS) for a group of two or more component carriers (CC) for multi-carrier communication. The base station can generate a message containing a group identifier for two or more cc (access or sub-link) associated with one or more TCI states, one or more SRs, or one or more PLRSs for use in multi-cc communication. The user equipment (UE) can receive the message and update one or more TCI states, one or more SRs, or one or more PLRSs for the group of two or more cc for multi-cc communication based on the message. The term also refers to the method of wireless communication at the user device and the wireless access network node.
