Abstract

In the case where two reference image lists are selected with the same index value, the reference image list may be unidentifiable depending on the number of two reference image list structures. The proposed inventor decodes the reference image list structure by including multiple reference image lists and selects two reference image lists from the reference image list structure for each image or for each image slice. The predictor selects two lists of referenced images with an index value depending on the number of two lists of referenced images.
