Abstract

The invention refers to a photodynamic therapy device that supports the treatment of respiratory diseases such as those affecting the nose and throat through photo-biochemical effects. The device includes a phototherapy machine that uses a blue light spectrum with a wavelength of 450nm via a light-transmitting mechanism using optical fibers. The light is delivered to the nasal and throat cavities by a therapy cable with one nasal inhaler and one oral inhaler. In addition, the device incorporates a rechargeable battery within its body, making it convenient and safe to use without needing to be plugged in. Furthermore, the device includes a spray bottle containing methylene blue solution with disinfectant properties. Its unique mechanism, when exposed to light, stimulates the destruction and inhibition of viruses causing upper respiratory infections, resulting in high effectiveness.
