Abstract

The invention relates to a graphene solvent system characterized by containing the following components in percentages (%) by mass: a) butyl acetate (BA) in amounts from 50 to 80%; b) N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP) in a maximum amount of 50%; c) ethanol (EtOH) in a maximum amount of 20%; and d) graphene in amounts from 0.001 to 0.1%; wherein the percentages by mass are based on the total mass of the solvent system. The graphene solvent system according to the invention contains graphene that is uniformly dispersed and stable over a long period of time. The invention also relates to a process for preparing this graphene solvent system and a process for preparing a graphene epoxy coating system with high corrosion and moisture resistance for steel and wood surfaces.
