Abstract

The invention relates to a component for footwear and sporting goods comprising foam. The proposed methods for creating foam components, foams, and parts, as well as methods for manufacturing footwear that includes one of these foam components, suggest that, in some respects, foams and foam components can be created by injection molding, or injection molding after compression molding.
