Abstract

The invention relates to a wireless communication method by an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) network that includes a configuration message transmission step on the source path to the first IAB node via the first distributed unit of the transmitting IAB. The method also includes a command step for the first IAB node to distribute the configuration message to the second node. The method involves moving at least a portion of the communications to the first IAB node from the source to the destination link via the second distributed unit. Another wireless communication method is implemented by the first integrated access and backhaul (IAB) network node. This method includes receiving the first configuration message on the source link to the first transmitting IAB via the first distributed unit of the first transmitting IAB. The method also includes a step to delay the distribution of the first configuration message to the second node until the startup process occurs. The invention also relates to a method for moving the integrated access and backhaul network (IAB) node and the wireless communication device transmitted by the integrated access and backhaul network (IAB).
