DATA TRANSMISSION METHODS, MULTI-LINK DEVICES, AND CHIPS

Abstract

The proposed patent solutions suggest a data transmission method, multi-link devices, and vertical storage media using computers and chips. This method comprises the following steps: creating, by the first multi-link device, a management frame, which includes the receiver address, the transmitter address, and link indicator information, and link indicator information indicating that the management frame is applied to at least one link corresponding to the link indicator information; and sending the management frame to the second multi-link device on the link where the station indicated by the receiver address or the station indicated by the transmitter address is active. In this way, according to the design options, the management framework can include link indicator information, to indicate the link to which the management framework is applied, so that the horizontal link transmission of the management framework can be implemented, and the second-level multi-link device can apply the management framework to the correct link.This avoids processing errors.
