Abstract

The invention relates to a vehicle charging system comprising multiple chargers (1) for charging vehicles (6) and a charging control device (2) for controlling the chargers (1). When multiple vehicles (6) are connected to the chargers (1), the charging controller (2) sets the priority order according to the connection order, charging vehicle (6) with first priority at the first current value determined in advance according to the priority level, charging vehicle (6) with second or lower priority at a current value smaller than the current value of vehicle (6) with first priority level, and setting the upper limit value of the current that can be used for charging vehicles based on the power information received from the system to control the total vehicle charging current so that the total vehicle charging current has a value smaller than the upper limit value.
