INTERLOCKING STRUCTURES IN NARROW SPACES

Abstract

This section refers to the mechanical design of the crane operating in confined spaces for deploying / retracting machine assemblies on specialized transport vehicles. The mechanism includes: a push arm assembly located in the middle of the transport vehicle floor, two guide rails, two support frame assemblies, a locking mechanism, and a limit switch. The push arm assembly includes a screw shaft, two threaded bearings, and levers to drive the two flange mounts, allowing the support frame assemblies to move along the two guide rails.
