Abstract

The invention refers to the systems, methods, and machines for wireless communication, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for designing physical layer (PHY) packets for power spectral density (PSD) limits. In some implementations, wireless communication devices create multiple copies of the convergence protocol (PLCP) protocol data unit (PPDU) configured for transmission over a selected bandwidth, and transmit each PPDU copy among many PPDU copies on a corresponding subband of frequency among many different frequency subbands. According to another implementation scheme, the wireless communication device generates a PPDU to transmit over a set of replicated resource units (RUs) allocated to the wireless communication device, and transmits the PPDU over the allocated set of replicated RUs.
