Abstract

The invention relates to a glass-based article comprising: a primary silicate component; a glass-based matrix with first and second opposing surfaces defining the matrix thickness (α), where α is less than or equal to 0.74 mm; and a stress strain comprising: a region of pointed peaks extending from the first surface and comprising a depth of the pointed layer (DOLsp) at a depth greater than or equal to 7 micrometers; and a maximum central tensile stress (CTrtVLi) greater than or equal to 50 MPa.
