Abstract
The term TMR refers to flip-flop devices, methods, and devices for synchronous propagation of digital signals. A TMR flip-flop includes a master gate latch circuit consisting of a first set of inputs to receive the first digital signal, and a second set of inputs to receive the clock pulse; and a majority select circuit consisting of an input coupled to the output set of the master gate latch circuit, and an output to generate a second digital signal based on the first digital signal. Another TMR flip-flop includes a master gate latch circuit to receive a set of digital signals in response to the first edge of the clock pulse, respectively; a latch set of digital signals in response to the second edge of the clock pulse, respectively; a majority select logic circuit that receives the latched digital signal set, and generates a second digital signal based on a majority of the logic levels of the latched first digital signal set, respectively.
