METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR PROCESSING METAL PARTS

Abstract

The invention relates to a method and system for processing metal parts using a furnace. This method includes the following steps: supplying activated gas to the furnace; heating the activated gas in the furnace to the first temperature; supplying nitrogen-permeable gas or nitrogen- and carbon-permeable gas to the furnace; and heating the nitrogen-permeable gas or nitrogen- and carbon-permeable gas in the furnace to the second temperature. The activated gas is supplied to the furnace through an activated gas supply pipe. A liquid organic solvent is fed intermittently into the activated gas supply pipe in a state where the activated gas is continuously supplied.
