LUMINESCENT DISPLAY DEVICES AND METHODS FOR MANUFACTURING THEM

Abstract

The light-emitting diode (LED) display device consists of a base; a first electrode on the base; a junction on the base, which contains the same material as the first electrode; a border covering the edges of the first electrode and the junction; a secondary border on the border corresponding to the junction; a light-emitting layer on the first electrode; and a second electrode on the light-emitting layer, border, and secondary border, in which the secondary border has an inverted slope surface, and in which the light-emitting layer consists of a pore support layer, a luminescent layer, and an electron support layer, the electron support layer having an opening to expose the junction, and the second electrode in contact with the junction through this hole. The method of manufacturing the LED display device is also revealed.
