Abstract
Sang Che proposed a method for immobilizing bacteria and bacterial culture solutions to activate bacteria in concrete. This method involves introducing the bacterial culture solution into a container equipped with a rotating fan at the bottom, immersing the porous material, and driving the fan to rotate under negative pressure. Under these conditions, the concentration of immobilized bacteria in the porous material can increase rapidly compared to the conventional method using mesh-type adsorbents. Furthermore, a prominent issue of low-density porous materials and inconsistent immobilization during the process can be resolved.
