Abstract

The invention proposes a molded plastic rim structure that can be extended along the circumference of a flat part and may include an outer wall, an inner wall, structural elements, and protrusions. The outer wall may be extended in the normal direction from the flat part. The inner wall may be positioned inward relative to the outer wall. Structural elements may be positioned along the structural elements of the circumference and may include the first parts of the inner and outer walls. The first parts may be positioned parallel to the inner wall and at a distance from the first parts along the structural elements. Protrusions may be positioned between two structural elements and the inner wall may be at a second distance from the outer wall that is greater than the first distance.
