Abstract

The invention relates to a method and configuration for a wireless transceiver device (WTRU) in the form of a multi-subscriber identification module (MUSIM). The messaging information for the WTRU can be optimized for power consumption. The messaging information can be modified to provide one or more of the requirements for maximum sleep time, minimum number of power state switches, and minimum power penalty associated with power state switches. The modified messaging information can set the message event offset window and the time direction indicator associated with it.
