Abstract

This invention refers to a gate controller and a display device using this gate controller. The gate controller in this design contains multiple signal transmission units connected via a carrier line to which the carrier signal is applied, from the preceding signal transmission unit, where the nth signal transmission unit (n is a positive integer) contains: a circuit unit configured to receive the carrier signal from the preceding signal transmission unit to charge or discharge the first and second control buttons; an output unit that outputs the carrier and gate signals based on the first and second control buttons; and a line selection unit configured to charge button M to a high voltage in display mode, and to charge the first control button to a high voltage based on the charging voltage of button M and the trigger signal for sensing in sensing mode after display mode.
