Abstract

The invention relates to a method and machine for wireless communication. A base station can perform online calibration of antenna elements at two or more transmission receiving points (TRPs) based on measurements by one or more user equipment (UEs). The base station can transmit requests to one or more UEs to perform antenna calibration measurements, for two or more TRPs, over measurement distances. The base station can coordinate, between two or more TRPs, the transmission of reference signals over measurement distances. The base station can receive reports based on antenna calibration measurements from one or more UEs. The base station can calibrate one or more antenna elements of two or more TRPs based on antenna calibration measurements.
