Abstract

Prescription refers to a test extract solution containing a component capable of strongly inhibiting false positives, which cannot be inhibited by conventional techniques, sample extraction methods, and reagents used in such sample extracts and methods, when detecting viruses, bacteria, target proteins, or other antigens from samples obtained from bodily fluids, such as nasal swabs, nasal aspirates, nasal washes, nasal secretions collected by blowing the nose, throat swabs, saliva samples, stool samples, serum samples, plasma samples, and urine samples, by using detection reagents employing antigen-antibody reactions or reactions between interacting substances. The test extract solution, in the form of a constituent unit of the reagent or component, is brought into contact with the test samples in the step preceding the detection reaction or the step performed simultaneously with the detection reaction, and is supplemented with a water-soluble compound including phenyl, benzyl, tolyl, or xylyl groups and is connected accordingly,at least the carboxyl group, the functional group comprising its ctyl / ethylated atoms, or the hydroxyl group.
