The invention relates to a device for granting access configured for use with a beamforming format. This device comprises means to: receive common downlink control information for multiple devices, such that the downlink control information includes beamforming information relating to the access node; and use the received beamforming information to regulate transmission to or reception from the access node on at least one channel.
