Abstract

Shoe uppers consist of a support chamber and an extension chamber. The support chamber has a top wall, a bottom wall, and an outer wall extending between the top and bottom walls, defining the circumference of the support chamber. The extension chamber extends from the outer wall at the furthest end of the upper chamber. In some examples, the outer wall defining the furthest end of the upper chamber has one or more protrusions extending from the top wall to the bottom wall. One or more protrusions may include a first protrusion located adjacent to the first side of the upper chamber and a second protrusion located adjacent to the second side of the support chamber. The extension chamber may be located between the first and second protrusions at the first end of the upper chamber.
