METHODS AND TOOLS FOR CONFIGURING SERVICE QUALITY PARAMETERS

Abstract

The invention proposes a method and apparatus for configuring Quality of Service (QoS) parameters. The QoS parameter configuration method applies only to network-side equipment and includes: configuring the mapping relationship between the Quality of Service (QoS) parameter set and the Sidelink Radio Bearer (SLRB) parameter set for the terminal equipment; enabling the terminal equipment to activate KRC connection establishment in case the terminal equipment's QoS parameter does not match any of the configured QoS parameter sets; or assigning a default SLRB parameter set to the terminal equipment, wherein the default SLRB parameter set will be used by the terminal equipment in case the terminal equipment's QoS parameter does not match any of the configured QoS parameter sets.
