Abstract

The invention relates to, among other things, a method of controlling weeds, for example, a method of selectively controlling weeds at a site containing crops and weeds by applying to that site a weed control amount of a herbicide containing an inhibitory herbicide (SDPS), in which the crops are modified so that they contain SDPS which gives the crops tolerance to the inhibitory herbicide (SDPS). The preparation also includes, among other things, recombinant polynucleotides suitable for use in this method.
