METHODS AND EQUIPMENT FOR SIGNAL FILTERING

Abstract

The invention of a black-and-white method and machine for signal filtering includes a filtering method consisting of the following steps: operating the first filter to filter the first input signal to produce the first output signal; operating the second filter to filter the second input signal to produce the second output signal; and selectively coupling at least part of the second filter with the first filter to filter the third input signal to produce the third output signal. Another aspect includes the filtering method consisting of the following steps: operating switching devices to configure the filter with the first set of poles; filtering the first input signal to produce the first output signal with the filter configured with the first set of poles; operating switching devices to configure the filter with the second set of poles; and filter the second input signal to produce a second output signal with a filter configured with a second set of poles.
