Abstract

The invention relates to a method and apparatus for wireless transmission, specifically a method, system and apparatus for managing radio links. In the first example, the user equipment (LIE) and base station can use a procedure to create a radio link monitoring reference signal (RLM-RS) for multiple bandwidths. In the second example, the UE and base station can use a burst fault recovery procedure. In the third example, the UE and base station can use one or more radio link fault detection procedures. In the fourth example, the UE and base station can use a procedure to establish a new connection after a radio link fault. In the fifth example, the LIE and base station can use a monitoring procedure including an RLM-RS over multiple bandwidths.
