DOUBLE-CHANNEL WATER COOLING TANK FOR WATER FILTERING EQUIPMENT

Abstract

The useful solution refers to a two-chamber anti-fogging water chiller with integrated RO for water filtration systems. It consists of a box-shaped tank with an internal space divided into an outer cool water compartment and an inner cold water compartment positioned coaxially. The cold water compartment is enclosed by polyurethane (PU) insulation, with the PU layer thickness at the bottom being at least twice as thick as the PU layer thickness on the sides to eliminate local thermal bridging at the bottom of the tank. The cold water compartment has a height of 70% to 90% of the cool water compartment, creating a buffer zone above and insulating it from the tank lid. A spring-shaped refrigerant pipe is positioned within the cold water compartment to cool the water. A water pump located at the bottom of the tank draws water from the cool water compartment and pushes it into the cold water compartment.The asymmetrical insulation structure, combined with a cool water thermal buffer zone, helps maintain the outer surface temperature of the tank above the ambient dew point, preventing condensation on the tank's outer surface.
