Abstract

The support assembly consists of a main cylindrical tube, horizontal support bars, and a double-angle locking mechanism, effectively addressing the shortcomings of current fixed support systems. The system operates on the principle of interlocking: The edge of the horizontal support bar forms a damping ridge that presses against the edge of the solar panel, combined with screws driven directly into the aluminum frame, creating a mechanical damping effect against aerodynamic lift. The sliding U-shaped clamp allows for a snug fit with various solar panel sizes. The support bar assembly connects the cylindrical tube via radial hinge bolts to adjust the sun-facing angle, then permanently locks in place with angle locking screws driven directly into the metal column. This structure ensures absolute system stability even under Category 12 wind loads.
