Abstract

The useful solution refers to a device for spreading granular or lumpy material horizontally, consisting of an inclined trough body (100) and several V-shaped bars (200) mounted on the material support surface with the apex (210) pointing upwards, arranged in several horizontal and vertical rows. The V-shaped bars (200) in the lower row are arranged in a staggered manner with the upper row, where the apex (210) of the V-shaped bar (200) in the lower row is offset from the midpoint of the gap between two adjacent V-shaped bars (200) in the upper row by a distance equal to 1 / 4 to 1 / 3 of the distance between those two bars. A vibrating motor (300) can be mounted below the trough body (100). As it slides down through the staggered rows of V-shaped bars (200), the material is spread into a layer of separate, non-overlapping elements for photographic and identification purposes.
