Abstract

The present invention discloses a composite porous carbon material electrode and an application of the composite porous carbon material electrode in capacitive deionization desalination, belonging to the field of capacitive deionization electrode preparation. A preparation method of the composite porous carbon material electrode comprises: dispersing a porous carbon material and a molecular sieve structural material in deionized water to obtain a dispersion, adding a binder to obtain a mixture, stirring, drying to obtain a composite material, wetting the composite material, and roll-pressing the composite material onto an inert conductor to obtain the composite porous carbon material electrode. The preparation method has the advantages of simple and feasible preparation process, wide raw material sources, and simple procedures. When applied to the capacitive deionization of high-salt water, the composite porous carbon material electrode exhibits good performance and a high salt adsorption capacity; under a low voltage of 1.4 V, the composite porous carbon material electrode achieves a desalination capacity of 55.79 mg / g in a 330 mg / L NaCl solution.
