Application of bacillus amyloliquefaciens hmz3 strain in controlling plant diseases

Abstract

The present invention discloses a Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain with broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity and an application thereof in controlling plant diseases. Its taxonomic designation is Bacillus amyloliquefaciens hmz3. This strain was isolated from chrysanthemum rhizosphere soil, possesses the ability to produce cellulase and amylase, can effectively destroy pathogenic fungal cell walls, and inhibit the growth of pathogens. This strain also has a broad-spectrum antimicrobial effect, showing good inhibitory effects against various plant disease bacteria. Greenhouse pot experiments further confirmed the potential of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens hmz3 in controlling wheat crown rot. This strain has broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity, provides a new microbial resource for the biological control of plant diseases, and is expected to be developed into a biocontrol product, offering good economic and social benefits.
