Abstract

This invention relates to storage tanks. Specifically, the invention relates to a storage tank for storing water and a method of securing a storage tank. The storage tank includes a water storage body defining an internal volume suitable for storing water, and a cavity formed within the water storage body, outside of the internal volume for storing water, for receiving a curable flowable composition, in use to anchor the water storage body to a surface. The method includes positioning a cavity of the storage tank over a surface with upward projections extending from the surface, and filing the cavity with a curable flowable composition, to anchor the storage tank to the surface.
