Abstract

The present invention is related to an AI-enhanced smart cricket pad for improved umpiring accuracy and player feedback. Over the time, technologies have evolved in different fields. In cricket, technologies like snicko and ultra edge are used to make the decision. But these technologies only are not enough to out the best decision. The voice had raised many times for the new technologies for the betterment of cricket. This invention presents AI-powered smart cricket pads designed to improve umpiring accuracy by differentiating between ball-on-pad, ball-on-bat, and simultaneous bat-pad contact. Utilizing vibration sensors, acoustic analysis, and machine learning algorithms, the system provides real-time feedback for decision-making and training enhancement. The dependencies on snicko and ultra edge to get the accurate result can be enhanced by integrating the sensors and machine learning algorithm.
