Abstract
Description
[0001] Hyperboloid agitator for circulating liquids, as well as stirring and aeration device
[0002] The invention relates to a hyperboloid agitator for circulating liquids, in particular water, wastewater or the like. It further relates to a stirring and aeration device.
[0003] A hyperboloid stirring body and a stirring and gassing device are known, for example, from DE 202 07 376 U1.
[0004] In the known stirring and aeration device, a motor with a gearbox is provided at the top of a tower-like frame. A gearbox shaft is connected to a hollow stirring shaft, at the end of which a single-shell hyperboloid agitator is attached. The hyperboloid agitator has radially extending transport ribs on its upper surface, which bend tangentially towards the circumferential edge of the agitator. Shear ribs are provided on the underside of the agitator at the circumferential edge. A ring main is located below the agitator, through which air is supplied. The air passes through a support element of the tower to the ring main.
[0005] The known stirring and aeration device requires a tower-like frame and, for ventilation, a ring main. While the known stirring and aeration device is suitable for circulating and aerating water, wastewater, or the like contained in a vessel, it is particularly unsuitable for circulating and aerating natural bodies of water such as ponds, lakes, and the like, as it lacks a stable base to support the tower-like frame. Furthermore, the known stirring and aeration device is relatively complex to manufacture. The object of the invention is to eliminate these disadvantages of the prior art. Specifically, a hyperboloid agitator and a stirring and aeration device are to be provided that are universally suitable for circulating and aerating liquids.A further objective of the invention is to simplify the manufacture, in particular of the stirring and gassing device.
[0006] This problem is solved by the features of claims 1 and 16. Advantageous embodiments of the invention result from the features of claims 2 to 15.
[0007] According to the invention, the hyperboloid agitator is designed as a hollow body, with a central opening in the connecting section for supplying air, and an air distribution device downstream of the opening for distributing the air supplied through the opening to several air outlet openings provided in the hollow body. The hyperboloid agitator according to the invention allows for both the circulation and aeration of liquids. Advantageously, a hollow agitator shaft, known per se, can be used for supplying air. In a stirring and aeration device manufactured using the proposed hyperboloid agitator, the provision of a tower-like frame and a separate ring line for ventilation can be omitted. Such a stirring and aeration device can be manufactured with reduced effort. It can be installed quickly and easily on site. In particular, it is not necessary to lay ventilation pipes underwater.
[0008] In an advantageous embodiment, the air distribution device has an air distribution chamber with several air distribution openings downstream of the opening. Each air distribution opening advantageously opens into an air duct, which is bounded by radially extending walls in sections. These radially extending walls expediently curve tangentially towards the circumferential edge of the hyperboloid agitator. The air outlet openings are expediently provided at the radially outer end sections of the air ducts. The proposed design of the hyperboloid agitator, and in particular the air distribution device, utilizes the geometry of the hyperboloid agitator as much as possible. This results in a compact design for the hollow body.Providing the air outlet openings at the radially outer end sections of the air channels contributes to a particularly effective aeration of the liquid in question.
[0009] In a particularly advantageous embodiment, the hyperboloid agitator is formed from an upper shell containing the connection section and a lower shell connected thereto, with the air channels being bounded by the upper and lower shells. Consequently, the air channels can be produced by simply joining the upper and lower shells.
[0010] Advantageously, radially extending transport ribs extend from the first upper surface of the upper shell. These transport ribs, like the walls, can bend tangentially towards the circumferential edge of the hyperboloid agitator. Advantageously, the walls extend from a second upper surface of the lower shell. In a particularly advantageous embodiment, the course of the walls corresponds to the course of the transport ribs, so that when the upper and lower shells are joined, each transport rib's underside rests against an upper edge of the walls. This results in a particularly stable and torsionally rigid construction. Furthermore, air channels can be easily created by joining the upper and lower shells. The walls can also have openings or be formed from several sections with gaps between them.
[0011] In a further advantageous embodiment, the second upper surface of the lower shell is concave, preferably hyperboloid-shaped. That is, both the upper and lower shells are hyperboloid-shaped. When the upper and lower shells are joined, this results in a particularly compact and stable hollow body.
[0012] Advantageously, the air outlet openings are provided near a circumferential edge of the hollow body. In particular, the air outlet openings can be provided near a circumferential edge of the lower shell, especially on a second underside of the lower shell opposite the second upper side. Advantageously, shear ribs extending radially outwards are provided on the second underside.
[0013] Advantageously, at least one of the air outlet openings is provided between two shear ribs. Due to the proposed arrangement, air bubbles escaping through the air outlet openings are immediately destroyed by the action of the shear ribs and / or finely dispersed in the surrounding liquid. This results in particularly efficient aeration of the liquid.
[0014] The upper and lower shells can each be made of fiber-reinforced plastic. In a suitable embodiment, the air distribution chamber is formed by a rotationally symmetrical, preferably conical, insert in whose circumferential wall the air distribution openings are provided. The insert can also be made of fiber-reinforced plastic. Consequently, the hollow body can be easily manufactured from just a few parts, namely the upper shell, the lower shell, and the insert, for example by bonding them together.
[0015] According to a further provision of the invention, a stirring and aeration device is proposed, comprising a motor, a gearbox with a hollow gearbox shaft connected to the motor for driving purposes, a blower connected to a first end of the hollow gearbox shaft for supplying air, a stirring shaft connected to a second end of the hollow gearbox shaft, and a hyperboloid stirring element according to the invention attached to a third end of the stirring shaft.
[0016] The proposed stirring and aeration device has a simple design and can be assembled quickly. It can, for example, be mounted on a raft for circulating and aerating water.
[0017] Exemplary embodiments of the invention are explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing. The drawing shows:

[0020] Fig. 3 shows a bottom view according to Fig. 2,
[0021] Fig. 4 shows a top view of a lower shell,
[0022] Fig. 5 shows a bottom view according to Fig. 4 and
[0023] Fig. 6 shows a schematic sectional view through a gearbox.
[0024] In Fig. 1, a hyperboloid agitator is attached to a hollow stirring shaft 1. The hyperboloid agitator has a central connection section designated by reference numeral 2. The connection section 2 has a central opening 3 for the passage of air.
[0025] Reference numeral 5 designates an upper shell, from whose first upper surface 01 transport ribs 6 extend. Reference numeral 7 designates a lower shell, from whose second upper surface 02 walls 8 extend. Reference numeral 9 designates an insert, which is provided downstream of the opening 3 and forms an air distribution chamber 4. The insert 9 is shaped like a conical cup and has several air distribution openings 10 on its circumferential wall. Each of the air distribution openings 10 opens into an air duct 11 formed by adjacent walls 8, the upper shell 5, and the lower shell 7. Shear ribs 12 are attached to the circumferential edge of a second underside U2 of the lower shell 7.
[0026] Fig. 2 shows a top view of the first upper surface 01 of the upper shell. Visible are the transport ribs extending from the first upper surface 01, which initially run radially from the opening 3 and then bend tangentially towards the circumferential edge U. Furthermore, the insert 9 downstream of the opening 3, with the air distribution openings 10, is visible.
[0027] Fig. 3 shows a bottom view according to Fig. 2. On a first underside U1 of the upper shell 5, the transport ribs 6 are visible in the form of recesses.
[0028] Fig. 4 shows a top view of the second upper surface 02 of the lower shell 7. The lower shell 7 is closed at its center, i.e., opposite the opening 3 provided in the upper shell 5. The walls 8 extend from the second upper surface 02. Similar to the transport ribs 6, the walls 8 initially extend radially from the center and then curve in a substantially tangential direction towards the circumferential edge U. A plurality of retaining devices 13 are located at the circumferential edge U, forming recesses in the second upper surface 02. As can be seen particularly with reference to Fig. 5 below, the retaining devices 13 serve to receive and fasten the shear ribs 12.
[0029] Fig. 5 shows a bottom view according to Fig. 4. On a second underside U2 of the lower shell, the walls 8 are visible as recesses. The retaining devices 13 extend from the second underside U2. Reference is also made to Fig. 1 in this respect. An air outlet opening 14 is provided between each pair of adjacent retaining devices 13 or two adjacent shear ribs 12.
[0030] Fig. 6 shows a schematic sectional view through a gearbox 16, which is connected to a motor 15. The gearbox 16 has a hollow gearbox shaft 17, the first end of which is connected to an air supply line 18. A blower connected to the air supply line 18 is not shown here. A second end E2 of the hollow gearbox shaft 17 is connected to the hollow agitator shaft 1. As can be seen from Fig. 1, a third end E3 of the hollow agitator shaft 1 is connected to the hyperboloid agitator shown in Figs. 1 to 5.
[0031] The stirring and aeration device, shown in particular in Figures 1 and 6, can, for example, be attached to a raft 19 (see Figure 6). This allows a body of water, such as a pond, lake, or the like, to be efficiently circulated and aerated.
